Venue: Merritt College, 12500 Campus Drive, Oakland, CA 94619
Parking: Parking is available in designated campus lots. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and check-in. Rideshare drop-off is available near the main entrance.

Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. As a volunteer-led nonprofit, all proceeds support scholarships and help cover the operational costs of this mission-driven event.
What is the dress code?
We encourage attendees to dress in professional, bold, and expressive attire that reflects their personal leadership style. For the UnleashHER with Black Vines reception, feel free to elevate your look—bold, elegant, and unapologetically YOU.
Can I attend if I’m not a member of the NBMBAA?
Absolutely. The summit is open to all professionals, regardless of membership, race, gender, or background. However, discounted ticket options are available for current members.
What happens if I select a member ticket and I'm not an active member?
Only active, paid NBMBAA members are eligible for the member rate. Attendees who select the member rate without valid membership will be required to pay the difference for General Admission at check-in to gain entry.
Will food be provided?
Yes. All attendees will receive a light breakfast and catered lunch on July 18 as part of their ticket.
Is the event accessible?
Yes. Merritt College is ADA accessible. If you need special accommodations, please get in touch with us at Programs@sfnbmbaa.org at least 7 days before the event.
Can I use professional development funds to cover the cost of my ticket?
Yes. Many employers reimburse event registration as part of their professional development programs. We encourage you to check with your HR or L&D department.
